Thistle Leaf Heart Pendant as seen in Heather Powers' new book

This thistle leaf pendant is included in Heather Powers' new book Jewelry Designs from Nature as part of an interview with me. This piece is handmade from earthenware ceramic clay. The image is of a Thistle plant leaf. I have handpainted it and then gloss glazed it on both side. The stringing loop is made from high temp wire and has been fused into the clay during the final glaze firing. I found this image quite by accident and am so intrigued that the thistle leaf has an acorn shape enbedded in it. Each of my pieces is individually hand made and hand painted by me and will vary slightly from the photo. Delivery can be expected in two weeks.
